For the most diverse event formats

Suitable rooms for various event formats can be rented in the STRAZE, contact us with your ideas and we will see how we can implement them together!

Important: we rely on rental income to maintain and refinance the house.

Therefore, please try to raise funds or calculate admission fees in such a way that you can afford the rents. Thus, the uncertainty and burden of running this crazy project does not solely lie on a few shoulders.

If this is not possible at all, talk to us and we will find solutions together.

There are mainly two rooms - the seminar room and the event hall - which are available for most public events. Other rooms are allocated by individual arrangement.

STRAZEsaal (Event hall)

The audience room of the historical hall has an area of 230 m², the stage 48 m². If no distance rules have to be considered, there is room for 200 people seated or 500 standing. At present, the capacity is about 100 seats.

Equipment: lighting with control desk, sound system from Inselklang plus FOH technicians working space, ceiling mounted motorised projection screen, light-intensive projector, chairs. Tables upon request. Catering possible in consultation with the café: cafe[at]straze[.]de

Public kitchenette in the building.

Our prices are tiered to allow as many as possible to use our rooms. Due to the sharp rise in ancillary costs, we have had to increase our prices. They apply to all contracts concluded after April 1, 2022. All prices plus 19% VAT.

Category 1: Price upon agreement. For groups with little or no access to funding (very small initiatives, alliances, working groups).

Category 2: up to 4h: 350€, above:  550€ / day (Friday, Saturday plus 50€). For non-commercial educational events, associations, funded events and the like.

Category 3: up to 4h: 550€, above:  850€ / day (Friday, Saturday plus 100€). For private events, universities, companies, commercial events, closed events.

All used rooms and facilities (bathrooms) have to be cleaned afterwards.

For multiple-day and regular rentals, separate conditions can be established by individual agreement. All groups that use rooms in the STRAZE on a permanent basis are part of the STRAZE community and jointly contribute to the running and refinancing of the house to the best of their ability. Seminar room

The seminar room is located on the upper floor (wheelchair accessible) and has an area of 70 m². There is room for about 40 people in rows and 25 people in a circle, without any pandemic related distance rules.

Equipment: Projector, two pin boards, flip chart, chairs, tables. Access to the kitchenette. Further equipment upon request. Catering possible in consultation with the café: cafe[at]straze[.]de

Category 2: up to 4h: 80€, above:  130€ / day. For non-commercial educational events, associations, funded events and the like.

Category 3: up to 4h:  100€, above:  160€ / day. For private events, universities, companies, commercial events, closed events.

All used rooms and facilities (bathrooms) have to be cleaned afterwards.
